Woman-O-Steel

Hokay. So.
Realizing that it was just one of those really bad days last time, I'm here to write something moderately uplifting and hopefully interesting. I say hopefully though, because more likely than not it will be rather mundane. But hey, thems the breaks.

So I've started my whole diet and exercise regime (no, not regimen, regime, because it's practically fascist) and have been thus far successful but plateauing in a most frustrating way.  I've lost 14 pounds since I weighed myself last, which I know was in Canada, and so must have been either in early May or way back in January, but I really can't remember. So that's good, but it's nothing miraculous cause in my beastly state 14 lbs really ain't worth bragging about.  Still, it is a small kind of accomplishment.  The problem now is I'm pretty much stuck and it's making me rather unhappy. So! Since I achieved said weight loss on pretty much diet alone (it's amazing what a little healthy eating and regulated water intake will do!) I've devised my "lazy girl" work out, which is basically formulated to fit my cardio-hating needs.  Said workout goes as such: (reps/sets)

5-10 minutes basic stretching
Jumping jacks (25/4)
Stomach crunches (25/4)
Leg lifts (10/2)
Modified push-ups (8/2)
Planks (4 for 10 seconds each)
Lunges (5 for 5 seconds each side)
Free weights: Side lifts (15/3)
Standing bicep curls (20/3)
Balanced bicep curls (15 each side/2)
Tricep lifts (15/3)
20 minutes stretching/toning (downward dog/cat/cow/lotus positions)

Obviously I won't do it all every day, and there will be some variations, but I think overall it should help me tone up and all that good stuff at least a little bit before the cruise and going back to school.  I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to do the crunches today, because since I am in such terrible shape, my stomach muscles are still sore from the 100 crunches I did the day before yesterday - how sad is that? Anyway, just felt like sharing my little thingy with all ya'll, not that I think you'll be interested, but more because I have nothing else to do right now.  Combining that with the gallon of water I drink every day (bathroom breaks are rather frequent), I should be able to tone up and slim down. ...I hope.  I'll update you on how it goes. And who knows? Maybe I'll be going back to JMU an actual regular-sized person!

And now this playa is out. Payce.
